1st Birthday
I can’t really believe it, but we just had Connor’s first birthday party. Crazy, huh? Thank you soooo much to everyone who came, especially Dad and Anne who came all the way from Carterton and my little bum boy, Mike who helped out no end with the BBQ and stopped short of changing the oil in my car as Kirst wouldn’t let him on her son’s birthday!!
I have some photo’s to share… the one’s of the boy with cake is actually from Devon’s 2nd birthday the day before, but you get the idea. Dad is going to provide me with some pics from Connor’s birthday tonight or some time later in the week hopefully.
The following pics are from the photo wall that I put together for Connor’s birthday. It has pics from birth through to his first self-held icecream during the last school holidays.
Kirst was over the Moon (no, not me… the one in the sky) as I secretly printed them all out and put them up while she was out with the girls on Friday night. Needless to say the overall “sweetness” was much appreciated and she turned into the rarely seen sappy “ohhhhhh I looooooooooooove you!” queen in an instant… SCORE! 
Not to totally overwhelm your senses, dear readers, but I also managed to get a video clip of Connor uploaded to YouTube… We heard some strange noise coming from the kitchen and went running to find that he’d decided that I’d need a hand with the dishes after all the partying and frivolity !! Check this clip out.
The coolest thing about this post? I managed to upload the photos with a new script I hand coded, and then added them to the post with the click of a button. NICE! Now if we can just get Mandz to use it, it’ll be a total success!!

Just send me BASIC instructions for the new stuff dear man, I assure you I will figure it out in due course. I mean, how hard can it be??

Yeah we didn’t actually invite many ppl outside of the family as our house is not that big. I will however ENSURE your name makes the wedding list when we get around to writing it

Oh that’s better… swap out id for eid in code and away we go. Musta made a code revision at home and forgotten to dload it here before editing it. Stink. Confused?
I too was not invited, and I don’t buy the ‘house is too small’ excuse either! Next you are going to say London is too far away to expect me to travel over for a 1st birthday party! It is shocking the excuses you will make to avoid people…….
I hope he realises that we will be attending his wedding invite or no invite..we might even prepare a speech!
