2009 – year of the phoenix
whoa where has time gone…almost 2 weeks into what promises to be my best one yet! and well after the mare of a learning curve that was 2008 this year will be like a phoenix rising from the ashes. so uni didnt work out for me as you will remember, well as always theres always more than one way to skin the cat, or gain and engineering degree. enter the nz diploma of civil engineering. 2 years from no all going to plan i will have one of these, allowing me not only to go work as in engineer in nz, but also will allow me to skip the selection year and continue my degree if my heart / student loan / brain desires. mum wants me too but im not so sure at these early stages.
the countdown is also on again with only 23days and 12hrs till i return to chch, but this time there is a twist. im immigrating! having been back here the last month and a half i have come to relise that home is where my heart is, and well apart from my family napier has nothing left to tie me down. so im heading south for good, to where my new life is, and into the arms of my sezzabear.though i am yet to officially ask her out, we have unofficially been dating for 5 weeks now, by far my longest relationship, and so far looks to be my strongest and most fertile one yet. hell i even sent her flowers for no particular reason!
and so yes 2009 shall be my year. my rebirth.
