All I want for Christmas

Well I’m back at work in Welly again *sigh* I miss ma family!! I so can’t wait to get home tomorrow to see them all!!

Connor is such an awesome lil guy! I know they don’t do much when they’re that small, but it’s just awesome to be around them! His little frowns and yawns and wind-fuelled “smiles”… And there’s something quite amusing about watching him fill his pants – as disturbing as that sounds! I’m just gutted that I’m now so far away… I guess once I should really start putting those feelers out for that new job back up home for once this contract is up!

We’ve been thinking about Christmas pressies for all – and in fact we’ve already bought a few… but there’s always SOMEONE that is really hard to buy for. I’d like to think I’m EASY to buy for… but maybe I’m not. So for anyone that’s really stuck… here’s a list of some simple (and others not so simple) things I’d really like!

  1. A Binary Watch – I keep asking… but never get! It’s the one techy geeky thing that would really prove my techy geekiness!

  2. The Godfather PC Game – I’ve started reading Mario Puzo’s original novel and once I’ve done that I’m gearing up to watching the trilogy. To complete the circle I’d really like to play the game too! It actually all started with the want to play the game, but I figured I should start at the beginning

  3. A halfway decent guitar lead – Simply put, mine is arse and I keep getting humming (which does go nice with the fret noise buzzing – but I’m actually trying to get rid of that!!)

  4. Creative Prodikeys – It’s more than a keyboard, its a keyboard with a keyboard!! Ok, so its a PC keyboard to type with and its a MIDI keyboard to make music with. I love the concept, and so far as MIDI keyboards go, its cheap!

  5. One of these – yes it will happen soon!!

  6. Also one of these – Kirst has joked about how any more pregnancies would be complete accidents and how any such occurences would lead to my own sterilisation…. BY HER!! (At least I think she was joking!!)

Now most of those things on my list are in the ridiculous price range, but theres at least one cheapy!! And anyways… what I want is never what I get, but what I get is always, always better than what I wanted!

Just for note too… Christmas is about family time for me. I could get nothing and I’d still be happy :D
