And waiting…
This is one of those annoying moments in life. I’m like a kid with a new toy and I just keep playing with it. And trying to proudly show it off, but wondering why no-one else is quite as in to it as I am.
I’m talking of course about TGM v3.0. I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve checked the Google Analytics reports to see what’s going on with hits, how many times I’ve come back to the site to see if anyone has left any commments (or even better) new posts… But no. Not a sausage. Not a bean. Nada. Zip. Nothing.
I think the real problem is that I’m suffering from being part of the “Now” generation. We have no patience at all. I’m sure in good time you’ll all start posting – in fact it’s only been up a coupla days and we’ve become notoriously slack at posting in recent months anyways. In the meantime I’m totally spamming my Facebook with website updates.
On that note…
Wordbook
On your settings tab in the dashboard, you registered users will find settings for Wordbook. It’s a plugin I chucked in that puts a link straight into your Facebook page every time you post a blog entry. It’s yet another way of getting traffic to the site. So all of you that have Facebook, I encourage you to set it up.
For any of you that are members of the Twitterati, I’m just about to install a plugin that will post to our new Twitter feed (we’re @GeekMythologies) every time a post or comment is made. The upshot of this is that you (and by you I really mean I) can subscribe via text updates so you (I) get notified on your (my) phone every time someone makes a post or comment. Talk about immediacy! (Told you I was part of the “Now” Generation, right?)

We’ll be hanging out in Lyndoch, in the Barossa Valley, sampling fine food and wine. Finally getting on our honeymoon/1st Anniversary. Gonna be a blast, but expect a little online quiet time from the Moon household.

Hey Moon, sorry I haven't blogged or commented on the new site much yet, was in Cornwall for a long weekend and just got back to a computer today. I promise to blog as soon as I've got a moment
