Down 1 and up 3
Just when I thought I was on a winning streak to have a weenie free weekend, those older girls pulled one over me, or so they think. No actually they did, I admit it. I am free of the 6 year old for the next 3 glorious nights, thats 1 down, 1 to go. And go the 10 year old will, to a sleepover tomorrow night. In the meantime I was 1 weenie down, and that lasted for less than a minute. As I was seeing off the 6 year old 2 more weenies arrived, the 10 year olds nbf and her younger 8 year old sister. Thats a most unexpected surprise, or so I thought. I did however notice the 10 year old was not surprised, not at all. She knew they were coming over and she had a moment of oops, did I forget to tell my mum?
But wait theres more weenies to come, theres another 10 year old coming to stay for the night, this one I did know about. This one is the youngest in her family, she travels alone. No younger siblings in tow, this one can visit any time she likes. Providing she takes at least one of mine with her when she leaves ofcourse, which thankfully she always does.
And she will be doing just that tomorrow, which leaves me weenie free for one entire glorious night. With the exception of one small detail..tomorrow night I have been booked in to babysit for my friends 3 weenies, aged 4, 2 and 1. My friends are off to a wedding and it’s my turn to babysit. I gain 3 more weenies yet again, whats the odds of that happening to me twice in one weekend?
Theres always Sunday morning, I will be completely weenie free until at least 10am. I will be able to do anything I like, assuming I’m awake by that time.
