Happy New Year!
Yes, I managed to be the first to post in 2010 – such a satisfying achievement (yeah, ok, that really says a lot for my life at the moment!!)
I hope everyone has had a fabulous Christmas and New Year break. I’m back in the office today, freezing my fingers off. It was -5 degrees celcius when I got in the car this morning and it isn’t likely to get much above +1 degree today! But the bonus is that snow is predicted for tonight so if I cross all my fingers and toes (being careful not to snap them off because they are so frozen!) I might just be lucky enough to get a Snow Day off work tomorrow

Yargh. I checked the site yesterday while @ the mothers for a BBQ and thought "YUS! I'm going to be first to post for the New Year". My disappointment says alot too – not so much about the state of my life, just the extreme level of my geekiness :S

Ah shuddup about your sunburn and summer holidays! I video skype'd my family on New Year's Day and my brother took great pride in showing off his suntan/burn/peeling. All I am going to say is – roll on April……….
Heheh yeah I'm sure I'll be eating my words then… but by then I'll also be eating orchard fresh apples, so it won't be all bad
