Its the wrong shirt

For anyone that lives under a rock (or overseas!!) I’d like to point out that today is NZ’s National Jeans Day. Yes, that’s right… wear your jeans to work and give a gold coin donation to some charity I can’t quite recall just now.

So anyways… If I can wear jeans, I figure a t-shirt is a good option too. So I pick out my Geek t-shirt. It’s black, and says:

There’s no place like 127.0.0.1

I scored this t-shirt a coupla months ago at the inaugural Napier-Hastings Sharepoint Users Group. I like it, in an elitist kind of way because about 3 people in any given day will EVER understand it. And that assumes that I’m at work and that I am one of those people.

But today, it’s not elitst. It’s a pain in arse, putting it bluntly. Everyone is screwing their face up and saying “what does THAT mean?”.

Questioner number 17 got the very blunt response “Just bloody Google it”.

Next year I’m going to wear a jersey.

Nice to know that you are secure in your own little universe of which you are the centre….. ;-)

Yeah that’s what I like about working… it’s the only place where I can almost get away with being the centre of the universe. The only other places I spend much time are @ home and ATC…
