Laugh yerself silly
Have you ever noticed that some people just crack up a lot? I don’t mean go crazy, I mean laugh, really laugh themselves silly at the most ridiculous things.
It was pointed out to me yesterday that I am one of those nutters, one of those twits who is overcome with a dire case of the giggles at any given moment. And I was in hysterics as I was being told this rather peculiar information.
My response to this suggestion was that I am simply a happy girl enjoying the lighter moments of life. I mean, if you can’t laugh at yourself first, then you have no business mocking other people, right?
And mocking is so much fun!
Spring. I lay the blame with the season of spring, the blossoms on the trees, the sunshine, the warm weather. It can all go straight to a girls head really, and turn her thoughts to mushy peas.
Have you watched the Johnny Depp version of Charlie and the chocolate factory? I watched it for the first time with my girls recently, and let me tell you, I was seriously moved. I had tears rolling down my face aa I laughed in a most uncontrollable nonladylike fashion on the floor. My girls were laughing too, but I fear they were laughing at mummy.
Maybe it’s because of Ren and Stimpy?

Muahahah dare I ask what the hell Ren & Stimpy has to do with this particular kettle of fish?!
And yeah… I start the day by greeting everybody in an over-loud, over-cheerful fashion. It freaks everyone right out. I usually get laid with the “why are you so bloody happy?” speech. I’m happy because I make myself happy. Sure I might have all sorts going on inside me… but outwardly I’m a grinning… nay beaming idiot. And why? Coz no matter how I feel, smiling and watching that smile spread makes me feel happy on the inside. Awwwwwwww warm fuzzies.
I meant in regard to the warped and twisted sense of humour as so aptly displayed on Ren and Stimpy, the demented and sick things in which some of us find total hilarity in seeing.

Hahahaha freakin awesome. Spongebob is about the only cartoon I ever saw come as close in silliness… shame it’s also totally mindless.
