My wish list for 2008
Wow, last day of 2007 already. Crikey that was sprung on us quicky, wasn’t it? Now I don’t usually go in for making newyears resolutions but this time I thought I’d try something along those lines, I have decided to construct myself a wish list for my 2008. Not necessarily for materialistic objects or wealth, but things that I desire for myself deep down, from the heart. I believe in writing things down and reading them over and over from time to time, if you believe in yourself and your goals, then you have more power within yourself for them to come to fruition.
1. Resolve outstanding court proceedings.
2. Be working for myself doing what I love.
3. Buy my own house.
4. Gain new skills to incorporate into my work.
5. Say goodbye to shin splints and run to my hearts content.
6. Learn to use weights properly at the gym and DO them.
7. 3 body piercings.
8. Find my man, my partner in love and crime, my equal.
I think 8 is a fitting number to go with, I would have preferred to stick with my usual choice of 3 but that would have been a bit confusing. I also have not elaborated on any of my wishes, because they are all fairly self explanatory and I do trust that you all know me well enough by now to understand where I am coming from.
As for my newyears celebrations, I am cruising over to Ohope beach this afternoon to spend it with some of my friends. We will have a bbq, do some serious swimming and sun bathing, and chill out with some drinks and enjoy everybody’s company. It’s going to be great, totally relaxing and wonderful.
Cheers to my TGM men folk, Bren, Slink, Laz, it’s been a blast ‘hanging’ with you guys and may there be more myrth, madness and mayhem amongst us in the year to come. You’ve all got big things ahead of you, Bren is getting married, Slink is moving away to go to uni, and Laz is in the process of self improvement on a big scale.
I wish you men folk all the best in your personal achievements and may you continue to be the wonderful kind and genuine men folk that you all are. You have all seen me through some girly dramas these past few months and I must say thanks to you guys for always being there for me when I needed your shoulders to cry on. I can only hope that I’ve been some use to you guys in return!!

I’m still stuck on number 7, trying to imagine where these 3 piercings will be……..do you have your ears pierced yet?……..lol
My ears are pierced. So is my nose. My 3 piercings will be personal rewards for myself when I meet my running and gym goals. 1st will be my tongue, 2nd will be my navel, and 3rd will not be discussed.
