No running
Silent running Bren? I totally thought that was meant to be a tough geek post, I was almost worried for a minute there! Running at this time of the year, that would be like near impossible for me at the moment, I can barely move, so many muscles in my poor over used body are hurting right now, I need to save my strength for serious activities such as sun seeking.
As per the last time that I accidentally stopped going to the gym for a few days, I am falling apart again. My back is stiff and feeling well bruised, my liver and kidneys are screaming at me for some reason, and I have discovered yet another new creaky clicky joint. This time it is in my shoulders, I have to keep cracking them back in, gotta love that sharp popping grinding noise that it makes. Good stuff.
My holidays are going really great, the weenies have been having a blast and quite frankly so have I. The next bender on my agenda is new years, and then a week after that the weenies and I head off to the beach for our whanau camping trip to catch up with Tors and her hubby, we have been in cahoots planning this trip since early this year, so it is so exciting that it is so close to actually happening. Our trip is going to totally rock, and if all goes well, I expect Tors and I will make a whanau holiday an annual thing, I mean there is so many beaches out there for us to try out, it would be silly not to!
And back to the running, no I have not given up on running, lets just call it a bit of a break. I will be back in my trainers and running again very soon (possibly not until next year though) and I will not be running alone, Daz has promised me that we will be running together soon and often (he was drunk at the time of said promise, but hey thats beside the point, he remembers and still stands by it) so by crikey thats what we will be doing.

GASP! He does not need saving from me buddy, he is willing! He wants to run, he’s going to be doing the same race that Bren and I are doing next year, makes sense for us to be getting out there and training together. Plus we always have fun hanging out.
