On the move again again

Greetings!

After our house hunting on Friday/Sunday we’ve been offered our number one choice! STOKED!

So we’re moving back to Hastings. Not the flashest area, but the most AWESOME house. I’m actually starting to feel that whole “wow… we’re actually making a life for ourselves” feeling. Which is great! Unfortunately the take over date is 21 December, so when we’re supposed to be wrapping up and then unwrapping pressies, we’ll actually be wrapping up and unwrapping our enitre house!! Tis all good though as it’s a four bedroom house so it kinda means Connor will have a room to himself, as will Taylah and then Zayne and Keiran can share when they come and stay! Plus we’ll have a HUUUUUGE back yard with a sand pit and all. It also has a wood burner, an outside laundry and Taylahs room is a huuuuuge great big converted attic space. Personally…. I can’t wait to get there!

Just talking about “starting out in life” I got a really good email the other day talking about how people go through their lives saying “I’ll be happy when I finish school and get out into the world and I can start life” followed by “I’ll be happy when I get a job and get money and I can start life” followed by “I’ll be happy when I get married and settle down and we can start life”, then “I’ll be happy when we have kids and we can start life”, then “I’ll be happy when the kids grow up and we can start life”… point being that those kind of people – and lets face it we’re ALL those people – go through life just waiting til they die to become happy. The time to be happy is now. Our lives are what we make of them. Be happy… smile… have fun. This is life… there isn’t a dress rehersal. Let’s just do it (SWOOSH!)
