The mummy schedule

Having read Mr.Ed’s journal on his daily schedule (now I feel like the laziest person on the planet) I thought it would be a good idea for comparrison to share exactly what I do during the week, not to point out why I am in desperate need to find busy but to show what I actually do while I am being a stay at home mum.

8:30ish Walk the weenies to school

9:00ish Domestic chores (thats housework boys)

1!:00ish This is my usual pick list..

Go to the pools for a swim, or

Go for a mountain bike ride, or

Go to the gym, or

Go for a run, or

Go to Daz’s house and break his dog out of jail and take him out for a walk/run in the forest. Or

I go visiting my friends for coffee meets and/or do massage swaps.

Often I get called into meetings with my lawyer and/or the weenies lawyer, and occasionally I have been known to agonise over a particular website which doesn’t always work properly for me, which leads to me bugging the crap out of the editor while he is hard at work.

Sometimes I even bake. *gasp* It’s true, it can happen.

But wait, there is more.

3:00 The weenies finish school, and the afterschool schedule begins..

Tuesdays: Dancing lessons

Wednesdays: Basketball, Netball practice

Thursdays: Dancing lessons

Fridays: Swimming lessons

We don’t get home until after 5pm most days execpt for fridays when it is much later.

I hope this sheds some light on how I manage my time, for the most of it I’m doing regular mummy things and running around being the mum taxi and sideline prop. I’m a mummy through and through, and when I do have some time to myself I work on my ass, do what I can to keep myself fit and healthy.
