The song remains the same (just played to a differ

Well it goes like this ya see….

Im busy minding my own buisness on saturday morning when I get a random txt from my Ex. She has just been dumped by her man and is single again. I comfort her nicely and try to cheer her up and then she asks If we could hang out sometime. Dumbly I say yes and she replies “sweet, its good now that we can hang out and I dont have to worry about jumping you”.

Yeah right, you try and jump me and im going to throw holy water on you! you evil she-women-devil!.

You see the song hasnt changed, she still expects me to do what she wants and to be what she wants. its just a new tune.

Ive been through this before, when i moved out of our “nest” in welly and back to N.P., she broke it off and unknown to me, started seeing someone else. We got back together after it turned out he was a dick and she was single again.

Well here we are a year and a few months further down the track and shes hinting at getting back together? Not on your nelly lady!. Im just waiting for her to suggest it and im going to shoot her down. Out of the sky and into the dirt. That same path she sent me on time and time before.

So the morale of the story? Is there one?

My advice to slink after reading his little journal entry there would be:

Dont climb the same old mountain

the view is always the same

move on towards that new peak

the one that calls your name.

Laz out.

At ease.

Great advise Laz. I once heard that the definition of idiocy is doing the same thing again and expecting a different result.

  2. Mandz says:

Stay strong laz, stay strong. Exes never fully go away.
