This is a good test!
Well here it is… this is the first time I have ever added a journal entry using the frontend portion of my website. Gone are the days of using the backend to add data! W00T!
I suspect there’ll be a whole heap of tweaks that have to be done to get it right… but I’ll actually have to make an entry before I can find those errors… so like here it is. And I refuse to edit it, so that it stands, mocking me and taunting me with it’s inaccuracies.
News. Um. I haven’t done my journal in so long that there’s probably lots I’ve missed. Kirstys Nan died a coupla weeks back, so the family all got together for 2 final dinners at her place. I think it was supposed to be the “final family dinner” on the Sunday night before the funeral, but about 70 odd people turned up… half of whom I didn’t know at all! The next night, after the funeral, the “wake” – for want of a better word – was held at Nana Jeans too, and at 9pmish there were still plenty of people there!
My little man is doin very well. Unfortunately he’s had a vomitting bug recently so has been a little out of sorts. This has totally messed with his routine and good old Mum is itching for things to return to normal!
My workmate Jo is preggers! Wikkid! Big congrats to her and Matt! She’s currently prancing around the office with her legs crossed (yes, that’s possible apparently) complaining that she’s DESPERATE to pee. As she’s not sure how far along she is, she’s going for a scan today so has just swamped a litre (or more) of water in no time flat. For those of you that don’t know Jo, she’s very skinny and much more than a litre of water would make her look six months pregnant anyways probably! Very amusing to watch and all… can’t wait to find out when she’s due. OMG I sound like such a girl.
Off to Ohakea with the cadets this weekend for Barracks Weekend (base experience!). Should be a blast!
Anyways… at the risk of this journal turning out crap and ugly, I’ll leave it there and get back to work! It’s nice to be back!
