Unanswered Questions
Gosh unanswered looks like an odd word today. Is it really? Or have I just spelt it wrong?
ANYWAYS!
I get to give feedback to my audience…
Baldrick of Kapiti asks:
- “Only YOU would have that sort of a blonde moment. Remind me again why you are in IT?”
Well Baldrick, in short… it’s a means to an end. I’ve not told many people yet, but I’m about to apply to begin a GDipTchg(Secondary) – easier to link it than to explain it. So like… yeah that’s why I’m in IT. Somewhere in the dark recesses of my mind I held onto the belief that I wanted to be a teacher. Sick but true.
Jimi from Rotovegas (via London) asks:
- “How long ago did you change your chair for the ball? Have you noticed a difference?”
Well Jimi, I changed on Monday. I can now feel abs. Or is that ab? One big one. Anyways… It’s a work in progress I guess! And I’m not on it all day as I figure 12 hours a day would be just plain nasty and sadistic.
Dave Potter* from Wellington asks:
- “I see on the web-cam that the ball has gone.
The ball is dead. Long live the Ball.”
Potter that’s not even a question. And the ball is dead, long live the ball?? I mean… wtf. omg. hax.
And in answer to your question, note the answer to Jimi’s question (above).

Bren of the Interweb Thingummy asks:
- “Did anyone notice the new link at the left of the screen for the Music Player?”
No, Bren. They did not. But that’s coz you haven’t told them about it yet. Click it and see. It should start automatically… but it tends not to under IE (if you use IE you should be shot anyways) – but you can always just click the play button to get it working. Right now it’s featuring my favourite song of the day, “New Day” by Kate Havnevik. Discovered this song on my sisters MySpace site today. I’m sure I shouldn’t be sharing it with you, but I WILL point out that you can visit Kate’s website at MySpace or you can buy the album Melankton – Kate Havnevik from amazon.com
Neeeeat. The only other question I have now is how come 50% of the people asking questions here are IBMers?
