wanted: smaller fish
and so the time has cometh, el slinko’s salmon must go. thats right my beloved and sometimes hated troop carrier is now listed on trademe for a cool $1600. having decided that its mighty 3SF power plant is overkill on the work and resupply (alcohol and greasys) runs, it has been decided to swap my salmon for a smaller fish, (tuna maybe?) and also go back to a manual gearbox, as opposed to the sweet as auto trans that lets me eat, drink, and generally look cool, all whilst driving. also thrown in will be a pair of skis and some snow chains to the lucky bidder, so that they to can experiance the awesome go any where ability of the snow salmon. also this magical beast will retain the full fusion sounds that i have blessed upon it. bargain. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=175286841
*note: whilst only a 5 seater…the salmon has the ability to contain up to three bodies in the boot…great for sneaking onto the interislander…or just those occasions where you got to take care of the evidence…
slink

I’m really not sure where you go fishing Slink, but I’m pretty sure Tuna tend to be BIGGER than salmon. Just because the can is smaller doesn’t mean the fish is…
The largest tuna (according to wikipedia) was 458cm. Chinook salmon (or King Salmon) can grow up to 1.47 meters. You do the maths.
Where would you be without wikipedia eh, funny.
Is there any chappys out there who haven’t sneaked onto the interislander? I seem to know an awful lot who have, It must be a boy thing.
Not me! But then I’m a good boy…
Thats because you travel with a tribe of kids and they would rat you out first chance they got.
You know kids so well, don’t you
How is it that I have never thought about sneaking onto the Interislander? Perhaps because I have only been on it a couple of times and have been a driver each time! The things I have to look forward to when we move to Welly
yeah I’ve actually never thought about it either – but then the second to last time I went on the Interislander I was 14. The VERY last time I was in a station wagon. Not much of a boot to hide in.
