WordPress?
I’ve always had a fascination with Content Management Systems. For years I really wanted to build my own, but they really are massively complex beasts… and when so many people are doing these things so well, why go to all the effort to re-create a more basic version of the wheel?
I mean to say… I could quite happily create a wagon wheel that’d do nice on a cart towed behind a cantankerous mule… But then standing next to a low profile 22″ alloy it’d look pretty naf.

However someone just told me about WordPress. Now I’d seen WordPress before, but WOW! How COOL is that? Joomla is cool, but unless you are pretty technically minded it’s a bit of a faf to administer. WordPress? WOW! (Did I say that already??). I’ve chucked up a demo site over here just for playing with. If you’re interested go and have a look. This is probably the CLOSEST I’ve ever come to tossing my own *cough*CMS*cough* in and migrating TGM to something new.
It’s sleek, it’s sexy, it’s EASY as hell to operate. Love it? You bet your bottom!!
