Comments & Deletion

I’ve added a few new tricky bits to the site. The first (as mentioned in the journal) is the addition of comments. You can now comment on any post on the site. This includes news items and posts by other users. Of course I still haven’t allowed for other users… but I will! So hold tight you people (like Jimi who is busting her left hex bolt to login and fiddle with the site)… its a coming… honest!!

Also added a delete function for the posts if you are logged in. That is to say you can delete your own posts. Again… I’m not giving away logins yet, but it has helped me in creating a method for editing the site and given me a foundation for my non-phpmyadmin database editing system.

Also added a “Time” field to the journal and news table, so I can now add multiple entries on a given date. The date now displays as a human readable weekday the nth of monthname, fullyear format. So (today) 2006-12-18 has been replaced by “Monday 18th December, 2006″.

It’s exciting to me… honest!
