Subtle updates a plenty

I’ve spent quite a bit of my spare time (after hours like) making some big updates to the site… most of which no-one will notice!

I tidied up the severly lacking style sheet so the site FINALLY appears as it should in not only Internet Exterminator, but Firefox and (my weapon of choice) Opera. Most of my visitors use IE, so it’s not like any of you will notice the difference. If anyone is (however) using Safari or anything else, I’d love to know if it looks right in that.

On the database front, I’ve bulked the news and journals into one table and created a dynamic way of selecting records for each. This will make it HEAPS easier to add other types of content to my site, including Social Commentaries (or Socoms) which I’ve been itching to do outside of the journal for ages! It also gives me a platform for building multi-user functions in… adding users and suchlike! Yay!

Lots going on… lots more to do!
