Things ticking over
Greetings!
Figured I’d post some techo news, not because I have much to say, just because it wouldn’t be right not to.
Prometheus is back and badder than ever!! YUS! The weirdest thing is that they replaced the hard drive so completely removed all of my data, but my fingerprints were still in the readers database. NICE! I can only assume the fingerprint reader must have it’s own built in memory.
As a precaution I splashed out $60 and got myself an external HDD enclosure. I’ve got a couple of surplus-to-requirement SATA drives floating around, so 80GB of backup storage has now gone in the enclosure. Never again will I be brought to a grinding halt by destroyed data! Daily backups will be scheduled as soon as I can figure out the backup scheduler thingee in Vista. Not that I’ve looked yet… I’ve just been busy trying to archive all my stuff off my work computer before I leave next week!
Just had a renewal notice for 2x domain names – one for another client – which means that in 60 days I will have been selling hosting for 12 months already. Wikkid. Roll on repeat business!

Dribbles on it? I’m afraid to leave the room and leave him and the laptop alone… he’ll probably try and do more perverse things to it! And the worst bit is it doesn’t have a drive for a a 3 1/2″ floppy…
Perfectly understandable. I have no drive for a 3 1/2 floppy either.
