As every good dad should, I’ve been teaching Connor some of the best tricks in the world. Ever.
The first, I learnt from my Grandmother at about four years old – blowing bubbles. It’s really neat seeing Connor get so excited every night at bath time in anticipation of bubble playtime.
To tell the truth I really didn’t expect him to get the whole concept very quickly, but he took to it like… well a duck to water I guess! After washing him from head-to-toe, Connor get’s his own special palm full of flowing soap and then takes the 3 steps to make the perfect bubbles…
- Moosh up the soap to make it bubbley
- Form a ring with your thumb and forefinger
- BLOW!
As you can see by the pics below, he does a great job of it.
And the second trick? A little something I learnt from watching 21 Jumpstreet back in the 80′s… the blowfish! You have to see it to really get it, so that’s what pic 4 is all about. I’ve got a video clip of it too which I’ve just uploaded to YouTube… Here’s the vid…
